As an innovative growth company, we are seeking a highly talented eCommerce Development Manager to join our team in our Southfield, MI headquarters location.
Primary Job Functions:
Day-to-day administration of web and eCommerce platform umbrella encompassing multiple subsidiaries and primary company.
Oversee the day-to-day production of web design projects and program activities, including new product integration, dealer locator, landing page development, rich media integration, and assures message is successful and the deadlines are met.
Coordinate with external marketing partners such as advertising agencies, digital marketing firms, customers’ marketing departments, and production companies.
Provide current knowledge and technical skill with various software, media and coding platforms.
Actively lead and participate in the requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of website enhancements, new development, maintenance, and debugging.
Lead the collaboration of the physical design and maintenance design, architectural design, and functionality of existing style sheets, the development of new style sheets, and design templates for all websites.
Act as web architecture expert driving discussions on support, scalability, and maintenance of the servers and architectural components that support the web infrastructure.
Spearhead all web-based projects including website enhancements, web-based applications, and database backed websites.
Lead team of up to 5 people of varying technical disciplines through day to day activities and complex projects.
Minimum Requirements / Education:
Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science or related technical field.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in managing complex storefronts in Magento with a minimum of 1-year experience in Magento 2.
Proven work experience in web programming and leading custom website development and deployment – preferably in an agency setting.
7+ years of experience working with WordPress, Drupal as a web development tool.
Experience with XML and XSLT for data importing and integration.
Web development knowledge of frameworks, AngularJS, Backbone.js, Spring MVC, XML, SOAP, Drupal, and Joomla preferred.
Extensive experience with Google Analytics implementation.
Mobile app development experience on iOS and/or Android platforms preferred.
Experience working with Photoshop and transferring Photoshop content to wireframes and designs preferred.
Professional Understanding in the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
