JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Recruitment, Hiring, & On-Boarding:

  • Researches and understands current industry trends; adept at using creative and cutting-edge ways to recruit.
  • Consults with all 3 Truck-Lite Pennsylvania plants and departments on short-term and long-term recruitment strategies, while demonstrating and delivering superior customer service.
  • Sources and evaluates talent for a range of roles.
  • Participates in special projects including career fairs, on-campus recruiting and summer internship programs.
  • Coordinates and tracks internal job postings and bids for internally open positions.
  • Advertise externally open positions using a variety of mediums including radio, print, and online
  • Work closely with local organizations to establish and maintain employment referral partnerships, including Careerlink.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd part recruitment agencies.

Retention:

  • Conduct periodical check-ins with new hires to aid and assess their on-boarding
  • Conduct, gather, and analyze exit interview data
  • Coordinate, enhance, and monitor employee retention efforts
  • Coordinate and organize employee recognition, appreciation, and morale-boosting events and initiatives, including the employee picnic, holiday event, fundraising initiatives, weekend appreciation food orders for employees, and Employee of the Month program

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in employee recruitment
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with databases and HRIS systems
